The GOP must be so happy with the Bush legacy

As if we didn't have enough reasons to hate Dubya Bush

Bush to relax protected species rules By DINA CAPPIELLO

WASHINGTON - Parts of the Endangered Species Act may soon be extinct. The Bush administration wants federal agencies to decide for themselves whether highways, dams, mines and other construction projects might harm endangered animals and plants.
New regulations, which don't require the approval of Congress, would reduce the mandatory, independent reviews government scientists have been performing for 35 years ...The draft rules would bar federal agencies from assessing the emissions from projects that contribute to global warming and its effect on species and habitats, according to a draft first obtained by The Associated Press.
Here's one more to solidify the way Bush does business with wildlife:

WASHINGTON - Two years ago with fanfare, President Bush declared a remote chain of Hawaiian islands the biggest, most environmentally protected area of ocean in the world. It hasn't worked out that way. Cleanup efforts have slowed, garbage is still piling up and Bush has cut his budget request by 80 percent.
...And the Bush administration slashed the debris cleanup budget from the $2.1 million spent in 2005, requesting only $400,000 a year through 2008.

Why should it even come as a surprise that Bush is more interested in rewarding his cronies with big contracts and tax breaks than about caring for life? Is there a "Christian" bone in his body? The guy has no respect of life, (just by faking documents and the Downing Street Memo so he could "play war" can show you that.) And certainly, if he does not care about people, other than his own ilk, why would he care about animals and the environment? LOOK AT HIS RECORD PEOPLE!
King George, isn't he a pisser!!!
